Review: His Holiday Prayer

His Holiday Prayer

"A new beginning could be closer than he thinks...

After receiving an unexpected job offer in Texas, widower Tucker Rainbolt decides he and his twins need a fresh start. But moving on means leaving his best friend, Jena Harper, and their vet clinic behind. For the first time, Tucker sees Jena as more than a buddy. What if leaving isn’t the answer? Maybe what he’s been missing has been right beside him the whole time…"

Author: Tina Radcliffe
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Series: Heart of Oklahoma (book 3)

What he wants for Christmas…
may not be what he needs.

Ahhh! Definitely my favorite of the series so far!! I adore the Rainbolt family and was so excited to be back in Rebel, OK!

I LOVED the “best friend to more” troupe! And as an animal lover, and someone who always dreamed of becoming a vet, this story made me all swoony! 😍😍

Though I loved that they were “best friends”, it didn’t feel true. They’d been best friends for over a decade, but Tucker didn’t knew Jena’s deepest secret nor did Jena spend any holidays with his family.
While the friendship was REAL, the length of time and history didn’t feel authentic.

Regardless, I loved Jena & Tucker! I loved watching Jena blossom and gain confidence!
And I really loved watching them really SEE each other for the first time.

The banter was cute! And as always I loved the side characters AND the Rainbolt family cameos.

I was fully invested! I loved it. I can’t wait for Katie to come back. 😉😜
4/5 stars
